To assist you with any issues we have compiled a selection of frequently asked questions with answers.

You can find the CBIG QR Codes in the meat section of participating stores. This unique QR Code makes it easy to spot! The QR codes are located on packages of beef, shelf dividers, danglers, take away cards, glass window clings and in store flyers. If you want to learn more, make sure to scan the QR codes.

If you have an Apple or Android smartphone purchased in the last three years you likely need nothing more than your usual camera app.  Here are some tips on how to scan QR codes on your phone.

iPhone – an iPhone with iOS 11 (or later) comes with a built-in QR reader in it camera. To scan a QR code with iPhone camera, follow these steps.

  1. Launch the Camera app.
  2. Frame the QR Code.
  3. Look for the notification banner at the top of the screen.
  4. Tap the notification to trigger the code’s action.

Android – Android smartphones with Android 9.0 and higher have a built-in QR reader in the camera. To see which Android version you have click here to learn more.

Open your Camera app and point it steadily for 2-3 seconds towards the QR Code you want to scan. Your phone’s camera may have trouble scanning the code if it is tilted at an angle. Make sure that it is level with the surface that the code is printed on. If you’re holding your phone too close or too far away, it won’t scan the code.
